Quy “Q” Nguyen is the CEO of Allyance Communications, Inc. Quys’ leadership, vision and entrepreneurial spirit are the driving forces behind the creation, growth and ongoing success of Allyance. Since 2002, Allyance has steadily experienced double digit growth year after year. Prior to Allyance, Quy was the Co-founder and Executive Vice President for Cercanet, Inc., a “Venture Catalyst Company” with suite of services including Venture Funding, Executive Staffing, and eServices. Quy was responsible for heading up the eServices division (Cercanet eServices Corp.) which included day to day operations, marketing, sales and implementing strategic alliances with industry’s leading carriers, such as: AT&T, MCI, Sprint, SBC, Qwest, NTT/Verio, InterNAP, Verizon, and Global Crossing. Prior to Cercanet, Quy started in the Silicon Valley branch of Qwest Communications, a leader in scalable and secure broadband Internet-based data, voice and image communications (NYSE:Q). Quy spent several years at Qwest in sales, business development and eventually moved to the exploding Orange County market. Prior to Qwest, Quy was a sales director for Pro-tech Staffing International, Inc. Prior to Pro-tech, Quy was a national awarded, top producing sales manager for NexCom, Inc., a leading reseller of Worldcom.
Quy Nguyen is an extremely passionate entrepreneur and philanthropist. Quy is an active Board of Director for Wescom Credit Union ($4 billion in asset) and Wescom Holdings LLC. Quy is a frequent speaker and volunteer at University of California, Irvine’s Early Outreach Program, the Center for Educational Partnerships and the Southern California Entrepreneurship Academy. Over the last 10 years, Quy has volunteered as a board member, assistant director and team leader for Camp Footprints (campfootprints.com), a non-profit public benefit organization whose purpose is to run an annual summer camp for children with and without disabilities and children from economically disadvantaged homes. Quy is either actively involved or has sponsored the following charities: South Coast Plaza’s Festival of Children Foundation, Tim Salmon endorsed: Family Solution/Canyon Acres Children & Family Services, Carson Palmer endorsed Hillview Acres Children’s Home, Matt Leinart Foundation, Rod Carew’s PCRF, Pete Carroll Heritage Golf Classic, Junior Achievement, Mustard Seed Ranch, Talking about Curing Autism (TACA), YMCA, Down Syndrome Assoc of OC, MDA, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations & Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Quy studied Economics and minored in Business Management at University of California, Irvine, and continued his executive education at USC, Marshall School of Business.
