John Peel

CEO, Concept 7

 

John is the CEO of Concept 7, Inc. one of the largest Foster Family and Adoption Programs in Southern California with offices in Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire.  The agency trains, certifies, and supports nearly 200 foster and adoptive families with placement, social work, and clinical services.  Each year the agency provides more than 87,000 days of foster home and pre-adoption service for severely abused, neglected, and abandoned children, new born to 21 years old.

John has committed his 32 years of professional work to helping children, youth, and families find hope and recovery.  Prior to joining Concept 7, John was the CEO at Family Solutions, Inc., a Foster Care, Group Home, Adoptions, and Counseling Agency for 13 years.  While heading up Family Solutions, in 1998, John met Tim and Marci, and together they created the first Tim Salmon Golf Classic.

John serves on the Board of Directors of the California Alliance for Children and Family Services, the Rio Hondo College Foundation, the Whittier High School Alumni Association Educational Foundation, the Whittier Methodist Foundation, and the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce.  For eight years, he was a member of the Whittier City School District Board of Education.  John has provided keynote and workshop presentations for educational, trade, motivational, and faith based conferences locally, nationally, and internationally.

John has a Master’s Degree from CSU Fullerton, and an undergraduate degree from UCLA, where he was a team mate of the current Angel’s Bench Coach, Ron Roenicke.
